Screening

icon-ANDDS With guidance from Dr. Michael Lewis of the Autism Center at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, WTC has developed a screening app called Autism N Developmental Disorder Screening (ANDDS). This app will help therapists to screen for autism or similar other developmental disorders at different phases of a child’s life. The age slabs included in ANDDS are 8 months, 12 months, 15 months, 18 months, and 24 to 36 months.

You will not be able to access the questions for each age until your child reaches that age, but once your child reaches that age, you may repeat the screening as many times as you would like until they reach the next screening age.

For example, you may not access the 12 months old screening until your child turns 12 months old, but you may repeat the 12 month old screening as many times as you like until the child turns 15 months old.

    Sample Questions From ANDDS

  • Does the child turn around to look at you when his or her name is called?
  • Does your child imitate you when you clap hands or wave bye-bye?
  • Does your child point at things?
  • Does your child smile back at you when you smile at him/her?
  • You just need to answer ‘Yes’ or ‘No’.
  • The questions are constructed by experts who are involved in child development research since many years.
  • This app is developed by WebTeam Corporation in collaboration with Dr. Michael Lewis.
