Nish Parikh is Bachelor of Engineering in Instrumentation and Control from the University of Pune. He is the CEO of Somerset-based information technology company WebTeam Corporation that has been pioneering innovations for special needs education since 2007.
Using WebTeam’s very own patent-pending technology for data-driven autism intervention, Parikh developed the Colors Program that was pilot run in a few special needs schools in the New York-New Jersey area in 2010-11. The fact that the kiosk-based Colors Program was well received by the autism community inspired Parikh and his team of developers to launch the iLearnNEarn Series of Autism Apps for Apple and Android markets.
Today WebTeam’s technology is generating more than 10,000 intervention sessions every day serving children with autism globally. Moreover, WebTeam has registered 1.2 million downloads in iTunes, Google Play, Nook and Kindle over the past 1.5 years – a feat that speaks volumes for the trust users have put on iLearnNEarn.
Mr. Parikh has been working closely with institutes such as UMDNJ, Easter Seals New York, Eden Autism Services, and the New Jersey Institute of Technology to conceptualize and develop structured special education models for students of all ages.
